WE CANNOT THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH -- THOSE WHO CAME TO THE PICNIC, SUPPORTED IT FROM AFAR, DONATED TO THE RAFFLE , PURCHASED TICKETS, BROUGHT FOOD -- THOSE WHO STAND NEXT TO ARWNY PROUDLY ALL YEAR LONG HELPING US TO SAVE THOSE AKITAS IN NEED. WE SALUTE YOU ALL AND THANK YOU ALL!!

ARWNY Akita Picnic/Fun Day with obedience demo, CGC, fun exhibits.
We are
hoping for many Akitas and their owners, from the USA and Canada, to join us
for a day of enjoyment!
Picnic will be from 11am to 4pm -- rain or shine. We have many large covered pavillions, a full kitchen, electricity and loads of space!! Open to anyone owning an Akita -- adopters, breeders, trainers, owners -- we love Akitas and want to see them all!!! Easy unload and access, no steps or stairs, large parking area.
No admission fee ... Free Parking ... Bring your own chairs ... water will be supplied … Please bring a crate or tie-out for your Akita so your Akita can have a safe "time out" while the owner eats, drinks, wins the raffle, and makes merry ... Leashes must be no longer then 6 feet. ... Children must be under parental control. Name tags will be in use so people can connect with each other!! If you will have your Akita in attendance, please bring along proof of rabies, a crate if needed, extra leashes to have on hand, and food/treats to keep your Akita happy!! EVERYONE should bring lawn chairs and blankets if needed for picnicing!!

ARWNY will supply the hot dogs and hamburgers to cook and the rolls, condiments, paper plates, napkins, plasticware -- we will need volunteers who love to barbeque!!
AGGRESSIVE
people or dogs

If your person or Akita is too animal aggressive/stranger aggressive to behave
well while the fun activities and eating are going on,
PLEASE
leave him/her
at home. Instead, bring photographs of your person/Akita to share with others.
And do invest the time and effort in training your Akita or Akita person to
be nice,
in the future.

Bridge: Take Route 40 East/Atlantic City, follow for approx 7-8 miles, see
Fairgrounds on left side of road.
From Route 295 South in NJ: Take Exit 4, turn left at end of ramp, follow Rt. 48
to Rt. 40, turn LEFT onto Rt 40 East, follow for approx 4 miles, see Fairgrounds
on left side.
From NJ TURNPIKE: Take last exit, go thru tollbooths, see "LAST EXIT BEFORE DE
MEMORIAL BRIDGE" DEEPWATER/PENNSVILLE Exit -- take exit on Right, at end of
ramp turn left, see signs for ROUTE 40 EAST/ATLANTIC CITY, get on Route 40 East,
follow for approx 6-7 miles, see Fairgrounds on left side of road.
