Personalized Care for Each Pet

Our Philosophy:    Our philosophy at Eagle Ridge has always been: "Where every pet is treated as an individual!" We believe in personalized boarding for each pet to ensure they feel loved and that they thoroughly enjoy their stay. We obtain detailed information regarding your pets' lifestyle, their personality, activity level, likes and dislikes, favorite games, etc. This knowledge combined with "listening" to and "appreciating" what they are telling us, and the fact that we maintain the highest staff to pet ration in WNY, allows us to accomplish our goal of giving your PETS what THEY want. Out pet care policies have been established under the guidance of our advisory veterinarians.

Personalized Boarding

Accommodations:  Even before our staff greets your pet we have designated an area of the kennel where your pet will be the happiest.  There is a senior's center, a quiet area for less active pets, an area for those who prefer an average amount of activity, and another for the high energy pets to ensure everyone has fun while enjoying their neighbors.

Toys & Bedding:  We suggest pets bring in their favorite toys for playtime with our staff.  We offer every pet sheepskin blankets to lie on or cuddle with, therefore we do not accept personal bedding.

Exercise/Leisure:  Activities are designed for each specific pet taking into consideration their age, personality, and activity level.  Each dog is taken to an individual outdoor and/or indoor exercise area for fun and romp time where they are closely monitored by our staff.  TLC is always a part of every pets' day.

Feeding:  We routinely offer breakfast and dinner to our guests as well as biscuit breaks for snack time.  We request that special diets and instructions accompany any pet that needs them.  This may also include heated people food and other special treats from home if that is what they are accustomed to.

Medications:  Medications are administered by specially trained staff at no extra charge with the exception of injections for which there is a nominal fee.  We specifically request that all medications be brought to us in their original container with the content, dosage, and prescribing veterinarian clearly marked.

Buddy BoarderOne of our most popular programs! This program is designed for those pets, especially puppies and young active dogs who enjoy playtime with compatible canine companions in structured, staff supervised small groups.

Day Care:  This program is the ideal solution for your family pets on days when they cannot be home alone.  It is perfect when you are working, remodeling, having an open house, or if you, or they, are in need of a day out. Many pets romp and play, frequently in conjunction with the Buddy Boarder program, in 1,500 sq. ft. outdoor and/or indoor play areas.

Professional Grooming:  To put it simply - if your pets are not becoming to you, they should be coming to us.  Professional grooming is offered for all breeds of dogs and cats by our certified Master Groomers with 25 years combined experience. Our groomers' patience and expertise with young pups and special care pets create a life-long cooperative relationship.

Pet Shop:  We carry a variety of supplies such as Gentle leaders, Premier collars and leashes, toys, treats, and grooming equipment.  We will be happy to order any special items which you may need.

Vaccination Policy:  All pets must be fully vaccinated according to Eagle Ridge Kennels policy.  Dogs -- distemper/parvo/rabies (within 3 years), bordatella (within 1 year and not routinely given by some veterinarians). Note: Vaccine requirements may vary for young puppies. Cats -- distemper/rabies (within 3 years).
